I can’t remember the last time I saw a chocolate orange for, at best, less than £1.50

I have a fantastic business idea. If you’re at any event and you don’t want to be there, pay me £150 and I’ll turn up in a military uniform, hand you a letter and say ‘Sir/ Madam you have been reactivated, I need you to come with me immediately’.

We’re on holiday In Center Parc Sherwood and saw this unusual squirrel. I’m assuming it has some form of leucism, can anyone confirm what is going on with this fancy fellow?

Out for a walk earlier today and noticed a Croc in the Leeds - Liverpool Canal. Couldn't believe my eyes seeing it just casually floating there looking for it's next meal.

Whatever will we have in our waterways next?

Help finding someone who sent me some moss, snails and few other aquarium plants last year.

The person who I believe was a female and maybe Scottish sent me some moss after posting in a aquarium sub and put having lots. You sent it in good nature and I didn’t send you any money.

I was having issues with PayPal and then had issues in my life and then I left it as I felt awkward. I’m sorry I wasn’t true to my word and sent over some money I was having a shitty time.

I don’t know the users name or my account name either as have a new phone new Reddit.

It’s been playing on my mind for months and I want to do the right thing finally. If it was you please reach out to me and I want to put it right.

Edit

Was sent under my Reddit name but to my address

Early heads up; weather models are suggesting the South East could breach the all time June heat record of 35.6c next Monday with London possibly exceeding 37.

Nightclub end music

All the clubs I used to go to used to have a tune they played at the end of the night - lights went up, song came on, queue for your coat. The ones I remember were the Thunderbirds theme tune and Bela Lugosi’s Dead. Was this universal? What were the ones at your club?

Taking part in Liverpool Art Fair this year

Really happy to be part of Liverpool Art Fair this year 🩵 Three of my paintings were selected for the exhibition and two are on display in the Royal Liver Building. One of them features the building itself, so seeing it shown in the place it depicts feels especially meaningful.

The exhibition runs at the Royal Liver Building, Liverpool from 12th June to 26th July 2026. Open 12–5, seven days a week, free entry.

If you're in Liverpool, it's well worth a visit. Great mix of work from artists across the region 💙🩷!!

I need British etiquette help

Update I neglected the real option... get my partner to go round and sort it for me! Problem solved. They took issue with something he did about a month ago, he apologised, both problems solved!

Update 2 everyone is curious what my partner did. He shouted at them through the wall to stop DIY at 9.30pm... personally I would have knocked on the door and asked politely, but he'd had a bad day. I do think it's a bit of an overreaction to shun us for that though!

We live in a classic British terraced house, with neighbours that for some unknown reason, no longer speak to us.

We think the slightly batshit woman on the end has said something untrue about us... she told us one of the neighbours opposite is a paedo when we moved in, so it fits her character!

I digress, today we took in a parcel for the next door neighbours. I want to clear the air with them so want them to have to come and collect it. I do feel somewhat like I have a hostage and am forcing their hand.

What's the done thing when someone takes in a parcel?

  1. Wait for the neighbours to collect it from you

  2. Take it round to them (please dont make me be brave)

  3. Have it indefinitely in your hallway to trip over until either 1 or 2 happens

There is, of course, the cowardly option... to dump it on their doorstep and run, but i dont want to be held accountable if it goes missing since I did "sign" for it!

Help a girl out, I hate confrontation!
